Text production in schools is authored by Andréa Luize, Andréa Dias Tambelli and Bárbara Franceli Passos, pedagogues with experience in teacher training and extensive experience in the classroom. The book is an invitation for educators to reflect on their practice in situations in which children write; observe how they learn, think about the paths that favor the development of genres, vocabulary and written practices. The authors start from the idea that there are multiple childhoods and diverse realities to discuss the production of texts in early childhood education and the initial grades of elementary school. Children are seen here as potential writers, active and intelligent subjects, who point out paths and possibilities to mediators and teachers.
