Born in Belo Horizonte (MG) and has worked in the press since he was 15 years old. He debuted in Diário de Minas in 1988 and is one of the most awarded graphic artists of his generation. His creations were published in O Estado de S. Paulo, Playboy, Jornal do Brasil, Veja, Courrier International (France), Bundas, Palavra, O Pasquim 21 and A Tarde, of which he has been a member since 2001, among others. His CV has more than 50 national and international awards, as well as numerous honorable mentions and participation as a judge in Brazil and abroad and in workshops and lectures. At the end of 2009, he received the title of Citizen of the City of Salvador in recognition of his work in Bahian journalism. He is co-author and illustrator of the book “Pastinha - The boy who became a capoeira master” published by Solisluna Editora.
