Collection: Ana Maria Moura

My passion for drawing and painting began when I learned to read and discovered Monteiro Lobato's books for children. As I immersed myself fascinated in the stories, the illustrations inspired me to draw everything I saw and imagined. I continue like this to this day, enjoying playing with images and words, and thus awakening the curiosity and imagination of young readers. Illustrating the book "The Taste of Strawberry" took me to Paris. I walked along its boulevards, climbed the Eiffel Tower, climbed Notre-Dame Cathedral and, like Dudley, felt the lavender-scented breeze on my face.

Ana Maria Moura is an illustrator and painter. Graduated in Painting and Visual Communication from the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
